The Company was founded in 2008 and is an organic farmer of hemp, rye, rapeseed and other agricultural production. The most profitable product is hemp, which is sold to international wholesalers to produce hemp oil, hemp flakes and hemp proteins. Operating since 2008, the Company is currently managing 4,260ha in Estonia out of which 140ha is owned by the Company itself. During the last two years the Company has invested more than EUR 800,000 in a related company to develop manufacturing of hemp seed products. Besides, in 2019 the Company also repaid the loan to SEB bank in the amount of EUR 2 million. Loan repayment and investments made caused a lack of working capital starting the season 2020. Currently, the Company is seeking working capital financing of EUR 259,840 for 24 months to purchase seeds, fuels and other materials for cultivating the fields. The loan is secured with a personal guarantee of the owner as well as the mortgage to 10 agricultural land plots in Estonia in the total area of 90ha and with the estimated market value of  EUR 330,800. Investors are offered a 12% annual interest rate (1% monthly). The principal repayments will be made once a year in December while interest payments will be monthly.

 

Therefore, Covid-19, which is currently affecting almost every industry, does not have a direct impact on the Company’s operations. The Company has long-term relations with its main clients and already signed contracts for the upcoming year with the largest hemp growing and trading company in the Baltic countries. Even if the market price for the finished hemp products decreases, the Company has already settled the price for which it sells the hemp seeds further.
