The Company was founded in 2005 and is located in northern Vidzeme. It cultivates 250ha (220 is owned by the owner and farms) of land with 200ha for crops and 50ha for grasslands. Additionally, it owns 50 cattle. The Company is currently expanding the land that is used for agriculture and is increasing the size of the livestock. Therefore, the Company is seeking EUR 18,445 working capital financing for 22 months prior to the farming season – to purchase spring manure, plant protection agent and cover other costs. In addition, a portion of the funds will be spent to purchase more livestock and facilitate this increase. The loan will carry a 8.04% annual interest (0.67% monthly) with monthly interest payments and principal repayment in December 2024 and December 2025. The loan benefits from a guarantee from the European Investment Fund which allows Capitalia to provide a buyback guarantee in case such a guaranteed loan becomes default.

Altogether the Company will receive financing with the European Investment Fund guarantee in the amount of EUR 36,890. However, the amount is divided into two separate financing projects, EUR 18,445 each.

There are a number of factors that make lending to the Company an attractive opportunity and the main highlights are as follows:

• The loan benefits from a guarantee from the European Investment Fund which allows Capitalia to provide a buyback guaranteein case such a guaranteed loan becomes default.
• A personal guarantee of the owner is provided.
• The turnover of the Company has been constantly growing and the Company has been profitable for the past 5 years.
• The equity-to-assets ratio has not fallen below 64% since 2019.
